Happy Halloween

We went Trick-or-Treating with our friends Jamie, Ashley and Paige. The girls all had a great time as did all the adults. We "partied hard" and all stayed up WAY TOO LATE! We now have too much candy that now sits in the candy drawer to tempt us all....

Carving Pumpkins

We decided on carving some non-traditional pumpkins this year. The girls actually got most of the gooey stuff out themselves. Great Grandpa grew these pumpkins in his garden and Grandpa Mike delivered them to our house. We had lots of fun and thought they turned out pretty cute.

The new clock

After months of searching for "just the right one," and then 3 weeks sitting in front of the fireplace waiting to be hung, our new clock has finally found it's home. We love it!! It replaces a mirrored clock that came with the house. We wish the old clock a safe travels and a happy life in it's new home in Arizona.

Oct 17th and 18th

We went to Browntown for the weekend and spent time shopping with Great Grandma Miller and Grandpa Mike and had lots of fun. We visited Aunt Kourtney's "house" and the girls had fun playing with all Aunt Kourtney's critters. Caroline got a short haircut to help with her bangs growing out faster while we were down there while Corinne just got a little trim so her hair will still hang out of her hockey helmet. Priorities.... We had to cut our trip short as Corinne received her a bible at church that Sunday.

Looks like someone got too close to the fire.....but don't worry, just a trick photo. Pretty funny though. I am sure I could never do it again if I tried. (No one was injured in the making of this photograph)

The funky mushrooms

We found these cool mushrooms along the road near the cabin. On Thursday, these largest ones in the bottom photo were as brilliantly orange as the other, but by Saturday has faded. Unfortunately, I was waiting for the correct lighting so I didn't go get my camera as I didn't know they would change colors so fast. Next time, I won't wait.
