Looks like someone got too close to the fire.....but don't worry, just a trick photo. Pretty funny though. I am sure I could never do it again if I tried. (No one was injured in the making of this photograph)

Favorite fall pictures

The funky mushrooms

We found these cool mushrooms along the road near the cabin. On Thursday, these largest ones in the bottom photo were as brilliantly orange as the other, but by Saturday has faded. Unfortunately, I was waiting for the correct lighting so I didn't go get my camera as I didn't know they would change colors so fast. Next time, I won't wait.

Raking leaves at the cabin

The girls had a great time raking leaves at the cabin and jumping in them. Corinne liked hanging out in the trees while Caroline decided it was a great place to lounge. Wish they would think raking leaves at home was as much fun as at the cabin.

Weekend at the cabin with Grandpa Mike

We spent our long teacher convention weekend with my dad at the cabin. The girls had a lot of fun with him being there. We went on a long 3 hr ATV ride and still made it back on time even though I made a wrong turn on the way back. We went for a walk around the cabin "loop" and Corinne felt it was best to walk through the woods instead of on the path. So, Grandpa and Caroline decided to try to scare her.

Girls Nite Out---Menomonie Homecoming 10/3/2008

The girls and I went to out to Dairy Queen and then to Menomonie's homecoming football game with our friends, Jamie, Ashlee and Paige. We had a lot fun although the team lost pretty bad.
